Once there was a family. Their name was Baker. They had many children.

It begins as a spring cleaning project—and ends in disaster. While trying to declutter her overcrowded home, Mrs. Baker topples down the stairs and winds up in the hospital. Her children—the Baker’s dozen—assure their parents that they’ll be able to manage by themselves until their mother can return home.

And they do manage—to get into a lot of trouble. Potatoes explode and egg yolks fly during the great dinner disaster. Someone makes off with big brother Ashi’s money, Mr. Baker’s valuable computer diskette is damaged, and Donny and little Saraleh mysteriously disappear.
