The Winding Road of Redemption Haggadah: A commentary on the Pesach Haggadah

The night of the Pesach Seder is not only when we commemorate our national journey from servitude to salvation; it is an auspicious moment on the personal level as well. Whether our lives include health challenges, financial distress, or spiritual roadblocks, deliverance remains elusive for so many of us. This new commentary on the HaggadahSeder, illuminating our personal path and enriching our lives as we travel “the winding road of redemption.”

“Rarely does a commentary on the Haggadah appeal so well to the well-versed and novice alike.”
Rabbi Ilan D. Feldman
“Through a myriad of creative and thoughtful insights, Rabbi Fisch infuses the details of this ancient ritual with contemporary meaning and significance. You will enjoy this book as I did.”
Rabbi Jacob J. Schacter

About the author:
Rabbi Yaakov Fisch is the Rabbi of Etz Chaim Synagogue, the premier Orthodox shul in the growing community of Jacksonville, Florida. Rabbi Fisch has led the diverse and growth-oriented kehillah of 180 families for over twenty years and has been instrumental in strengthening the community through outreach, education, and building bridges to the wider community of Jacksonville’s Jews. In 2018, he launched the Jacksonville Community Kollel, which serves as a resource for Jewish education and vehicle of outreach in the area, bringing in eleven families of chaverim from around the US. In 2017, he started the “Gesher K” kashrus organization that now certifies eleven facilities, enabling kosher options for everyone in the area like never before. He brought Daf Yomi to Northern Florida in 2005, and has personally taught the daily class for over twenty years. Rabbi Fisch’s reach extends well beyond sunny Jacksonville as a blogger for Times of Israel and host of the monthly podcast Journeys of Challenge, where he identifies demanding areas of life and uncovers the opportunities for growth there. He is politically connected through his advocacy for the Jewish community and Israel and was chosen to give the invocation for Governor Ron DeSantis’s inauguration. When he is not busy with his career and being the father of five, Rabbi Fisch can be found running 5Ks along the famous bridges of Jacksonville or crafting California rolls as an amateur sushi chef.
